Come and see the Youthhouse!

The Youthhouse is a very special house where Dutch and refugees live together. It is more than renting a room. Every day you get to know different cultures and traditions. Cooperation, hospitality and eating together are very important. The Youthhouse is a place where the young refugees relax after a stressful period and plan for their coming future.

Dutch residents or foreigners, students or young workers, who live in the Youthhouse have the opportunity to learn how to deal with people of different cultures. They form a bridge to the Dutch society.

If you are 19-28 years old, and interested in living in a multi-cultural house, you are very welcome to visit us in the Youthhouse. A period of one year is possible, but also longer.

What are the costs of living in the Youthhouse?

Monthly €210-280 (dependent on the size of the room) for living and use of the facilities of the house and €90 for all meals.

What are the facilities in the Youthhouse?

Every resident has a room for himself (herself). There is a large living room for all with TV set, place to sit and eat, a garden at the sunny side (barbeque) with shed for bicycles, two showers with washing machine and dryer, a kitchen with cooking facilities. Smoking on own room is admitted. The house is only five minutes walking to the city centre.
